Never pluck or tweeze nose
hair. You can get an infection because your nose is a warm, moist
environment to breed bacteria, and tweezing results in an open pore for
bacteria to enter. You can use scissors but you’ll have to be
careful not to nip your nasal skin.
The best tool is to find a
well-crafted nose trimmer. Most trimmers contain two blades – a
stationary outer cutter, and an inner cutter which rotates inside the
outer cutter. The best design has minimal space or no space
between the outer cutter, and the outer cutter should be
stationary. The design minimizes the tug of the hair before it is cut. You
don’t want a cheap trimmer that tugs or pulls the hair before it
cuts because that is as risky as tweezing.
