Cosmetologists recommend waxing as the best method to remove unwanted lip hair
because almost every large beauty salon offers facial waxing. Cosmetologists claim
that the new hair that grows in is usually softer and silkier than before, which might
make it less noticeable since you need to let the hair grow long enough so it will embed
in the wax before you can re-wax. However, I doubt that claim as hormones and genetics
determine hair characteristics. Also, waxing can be painful and not everyone’s skin can
take the friction of the wax’s removal.
