HAIR TODAY, GONE TOMORROW:  HAIR
Grey Hair
What we call “grey” is not factually accurate. At some time in one’s life, our
bodies stop being able to replicate the pigments of our youth, and the
replacement hairs are colorless. When white hair mixes with dark hair, the
overall effect is grey. But each individual shaft is not grey – it’s white. These
white shafts are usually thicker than the colored shafts, and are less
manageable. Grey hair has a lot in common with
coarse hair, but you should
use less hot water in every step. Also, don’t use styling products; they might turn
the white shaft YELLOW..
