This formula is a strong stain
remover and tartar reducer: Mix 1/4 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide
with one teaspoon baking soda. Don’t’ swallow, for heaven’s sake, and rinse thoroughly. Use this once a week.
Dental procedures,
like BriteSmile, are fast and effective methods but will cost more than baking soda. I’ve had it done, and I LOVED the results. My
procedure lasted about 3 hours, and it’s about as uncomfortable
as getting X-rays (to me, the X-rays were the most painful part
of a dental visit). At first, your teeth are an unnatural white, so schedule an appointment about 2 weeks ahead of your important
interview.
The over-the-counter applications, like Crest’s
Whitestrips Dental Whitening System Strips, are cost-effective
alternative to BriteWhite. Your experience will depend on your gums’ sensitivity.
